On this site you will find gorgeous, figured, exotic woods, both stabilized and unstabilized, and hand crafted artistic woodturnings born from these woods.

We are one of the top three suppliers of stabilized call blanks to the waterfowl call industry. Other regular clients of Unique Wood World are the knife, pistol grip, drum stick, hairpin and pool cue industries. We have a source for environmentally responsibile timber harvesters in Bangkok, Thailand, and import all of the highly figured Asian timbers via container through the port of Los Angeles. The domestic woods are also purchased from renewable resources here within the states. We are very demanding--not only seeking the most figured yet sound,and unusual species available, but also demanding that our vendors adhere to the highest standards of moral responsibility. We expect that all or our suppliers honor the CITES treaty, replant downed trees, and distrub the environment as little as possible during logging.
